Web design & build
Websites that generate revenue.
No templates. We design around your customers and what you want them to do, then build it fast, accessible and easy to update. You follow every step in your own portal.
How a build runs
Five stages, and you can see every one.
The same five stages on every project, tracked in your client portal from the first call to launch day.
- 01
Discovery
A free call about your business, your customers and what you want the site to do. You get a clear plan and a fixed quote.
- 02
Design
We design the key pages around what your visitors need to find and do. Nothing is built until you have signed the designs off.
- 03
Build
Built from scratch, fast and accessible, on WordPress or fully custom. You see progress on a staging copy as we go.
- 04
Content
Your copy and photos go in. The portal shows exactly what we still need from you, so nothing stalls quietly.
- 05
Launch
Tested, moved onto our UK hosting with SSL, backups and Skywatch switched on, then live. Then we stay.
Sample designs
Ten designs. Try one with your name.
One-page sites for ten kinds of business, each one live and responsive. Type your business name, then open any design to see it on desktop, tablet and phone.
These are samples: each business and its content is made up. Yours is designed around your brand, your words and your photos, and comes with hosting, security and the client portal.
Before launch
Checked before launch, not after.
A site that looks right is half the job. Before anything goes live we test it the way your visitors and Google will use it.
Speed
Images sized and compressed, caching set up, and load times measured on mobile and desktop.
Six browsers
Every page checked in six browsers, Googlebot included, and fixed where it falls short.
Accessibility
Readable contrast, proper headings, labelled forms and keyboard navigation.
SEO basics
Titles, descriptions, sitemap and Search Console, set up before launch, not after.
Security
SSL, the firewall and malware protection are on from the first day the site is live.
Forms that arrive
Every form is sent end to end, so enquiries reach you and not a spam folder.
WordPress or custom
Built on what suits the job.
Most business sites are best on WordPress: you can edit pages yourself and it runs on our managed hosting. When a site needs features WordPress was not made for, we build it fully custom. Either way it is designed from scratch, never a bought template.
- We move your existing site and email over for you
- Hosted, backed up and protected from the day it goes live
- Changes after launch through support tickets in your portal

FAQ
Web design questions.
Something else? Email contact-us@customlaunch.co.uk and a real person will reply within 1 business day.
Can you redesign the site I already have?
Yes. We look at what is working on your current site, keep what earns you enquiries and rebuild the rest. We also move your existing site and email over to our hosting for you.
WordPress or custom: which should I have?
WordPress suits most business sites, because you can edit pages yourself. Fully custom suits sites with unusual features or heavy traffic. We will recommend one on the first call and explain why.
Will I be able to update it myself?
Yes. We build it to be easy to update, and show you how. If you would rather not, changes are part of the Pro plan or quoted first at £50/hour.
How do I know how the build is going?
Every build has its own page in your client portal: each stage, what is done, and what we need from you. You can click through a sample build in the demo.
What does a website cost?
Builds are quoted at a fixed price after the free consultation, so you know the cost before we start. Hosting, security and support are a monthly plan from £30/month.
